Position Overview:
We are looking for an individual who displays a high degree of initiative,
determination and resourcefulness. Previous experience in a sales and customer
service environment is required. The position involves a high degree of task
diversity, and the candidate must be easily adaptable to change and thrive
in a fast paced environment. Superior phone and computer skills are essential
and you must possess excellent detail, accuracy and administration skills.
You are known to efficient and effective in a fast paced environment - you
are able to react quickly. The ideal candidate will have some experience in
working with real estate, construction, inspection or home service businesses.
Ideally you have had previous experience as a workload planner and scheduler
in a field based service business. The position hours are varied and shifts
will be a mix of days, nights and weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inside sales – handle
and convert incoming home inspection and ecoENERGY requests to confirmed
sales
- Order processing and
data entry
- Ensuring excellent customer
support for internal and external customers
- Completion and delivery
of inspection reports
- Administrative duties
such as filing, organization, client follow up, and info package mailings
etc….
Required Skills:
- Inbound and outbound
telephone sales background or retail/service business sales experience
- Exceptional
and proven customer service experience
- Proven track record
of success and results in terms of inside sales
- Experience with a multi-line
phone system
- Experience managing
workload planning and scheduling in a fast paced, field service business.
- Superior
organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and
produce accurate results are essential.
- Excellent computer skills
(All Microsoft Office products and ideally Adobe products)
- A self initiator
with the ability to proactively pursue assigned and unassigned work priorities
- Able
to work independently and with minimal supervision
- A knowledge of the
real estate industry and/or knowledge of how a real estate transaction
works is beneficial
- Sound knowledge of Ontario
geography – i.e.
locations of major cities and their proximity to each other
- Knowledge
of general principles and practices common to residential construction,
renovation and repair
would be
considered a benefit
Position Status:This position is permanent full-time. This position is based out of our head
office located at 120 Carlton St in Toronto.
