Become an eco-ENGERGY Advisor!
Department: Inspection
Position: ecoENERGY Advisor
Reports to: Director, Inspection Services
Salary Range: Performance based commission plan; a range
of $45,000 – 55,000 can be expected

Carson, Dunlop & Associates is a Consulting Engineering firm specializing
in building inspections. We are the largest independent home inspection company
in the country. We leverage our extensive technical knowledge to produce the
industry’s leading inspection training course, and report writing systems.

Position overview:
We are looking for dedicated people who want to help us improve the environmental
through NRCan’s eco-ENERGY program.
If you are a hands-on
type of person with a love for buildings and related systems, you can be
trained and certified to be an eco-ENERGY Advisor to perform evaluations
on residential home through this NRCan program.
We have options to get
you started, whether you already own your own equipment or need to start
from scratch using our company owned equipment.
We are looking for outgoing,
confident and motivated people.
You must have excellent
communication skills, including fluent verbal and written English.
The majority of the training and all the evaluations take place in the field.

independently, love variety, seek out continual learning, and don’t
want to be chained to a desk, then this position with Carson Dunlop is for
you.
In addition to that, we
will on occasion seek to develop willing and qualified Advisors to become
part of our Home Inspection Team.
Knowledge/Skill
requirements:
• Computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to perform moderate climbing and lifting
• Valid Ontario driver’s license (must provide own presentable vehicle)
• Hands-on aptitude
Personal attributes:
• Outgoing, personable and confident and self motivated
• Clean professional appearance
• Knowledge of or interest in structures, mechanical and electrical systems
and building envelopes
• Ability to work independently and solve problems
• Detailed and organized
